CG 20 37

The ISO endorsement adding Additional Insured status for claims arising from completed operations.

CG 20 37 is the ISO endorsement 'Additional Insured – Owners, Lessees or Contractors – Completed Operations.' Unlike CG 20 10, which covers ongoing work, CG 20 37 extends Additional Insured status to claims arising from the sub's work after the job is finished. This matters enormously in construction because most construction defect claims (water intrusion, structural failures, faulty installations) surface months or years after completion. Without CG 20 37 on file, a GC is exposed for the entire long tail of post-completion liability. Any subcontract that requires AI status should require both CG 20 10 and CG 20 37.
